As some of you know, Google purchased Feedburner, the most popular RSS subscription service online. I use Feedburner for subscribers to Market My Novel.

With the purchase, all Feedburner accounts must be moved to Google accounts by the end of February, 2009. By moving the service, Google will also do away with different site
statistic reports and have account managers rely on Google Analytics
for site details. If you do not move your service, you will lose everything.
Matt Dickman offers an excellent post and video about the process at his Techno Marketer blog.
You can also find out more from the Google FAQ about account transfers.
Today, I transferred the Market My Novel feeds to Google. They assure all Feedburner users that there should not be a service disruption. However, if you stop receiving emails, please contact me directly.

Angela — Thanks for posting a link to the video. I've seen a drop in subs, but Google seems to be sure they'll bounce back. Definitely move things by the 28th of Feb.
I know nothing about feedburner or RSS feeds. Maybe that is something Dani can clue us clueless folks on.
I use Google constantly, but hadn't heard about the purchase of Feedburner. Thanks for the information.
I've awarded you and Market My Novel the Butterfly Award. I hope you enjoy it and will pass it on to other cool blogs.
