HarperCollins has launched an innovative new Web site that allows authors to post their work, get reader feedback - and get noticed by publishers.
Authonomy is current in beta, and is for authors who are unpublished, self-published or already with major publishing houses. HarperCollins plans to use the service to find fresh talent to publish. The best part? The site is free.
I have seen other sites like this, but Authonomy has a better look and feel, and has a legitimate, LARGE publisher behind it. If you want to get your work in the hands of the people who matter, check out this site.

Wow, you find the coolest stuff! I hope this helps many writers out there. I wonder if the writers wouldn't mind an illustrator's point of view every now and then?
I think that would be GREAT! The more POVs, the better.
If you get a membership, find me there and we will learn the site together. I will swallow my nervousness and share some of my own stuff. I need some good feedback, now that I don't have a critique group.

Hi Angela,
I just discovered your site, because of your mention of mine–thank you–what great information you offer here. Authonomy sounds terrific. I think it might be a great resource for some of my clients–do you know anyone who's posted there and can share their experience?
