&lt;p&gt;What a terrific post! I cheered on everything you said - except for Wordpress. Wordpress and I simply do not get along. I have McNulty&#039;s book, but have a hard time manipulating the templates to my satisfaction - one reason I went with Typepad a few years ago.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Now, if I had someone who did a template the way I wanted it, I could probably handle filing posts via Wordpress. I love the easy-to-use plug-ins and templates. Did find a resource via Twitter to help: &lt;a href=&quot;http://thewordpresswizard.com/&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;http://thewordpresswizard.com/&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I understand Blogger has changed some things and it is now easier to manipulate that, but haven&#039;t really worked with my personal blog much to figure it out.&lt;/p&gt;
