Wow. I don't comment on Digg so I had no idea this is the kind of abuse you would get for commenting there. I use it for the search engines, that's about it. Thanks for alerting me about this, Angela! I had your blog minimized for days so that when I had time I could mosey on back here and divulge in all this wonderful information. You remember when you were a kid how much you loved comic books? And you saved them to read until you couldn't hold out any more? That's what I think of when I'm reading your blog, lol. What a great service you are bringing to everyone...good job and keep blogging!

Yes, I was pretty lucky. I've seen people leave comments as innocuous as "Nice article. Thanks for sharing!" and get totally hammered.

I haven't fed by RSS into Twitter. Debating on that one because I bookmark some really weird stuff - most of it for research for fiction, but some for blog posts or DVD/book reviews. Do I really want my Twitter followers to see all the serial killer and magic Web sites in my queue?

Of course, might start some interesting discussions. LOL

Have you had any issues feeding into Twitter? Can you choose with links will show up in Twitter and which will not?

As far a troll commenters go, I think you got off pretty easy (I've seen so much worse). But I agree about Not Digging Digg. I closed my account not too long after I joined because it was all about popularity and less about sharing content easily.

I switched to Delicious. I have my RSS feed connected to my Twitter, and when folks click the link from my Twitter, they'll go straight to the article. "Dugg" articles would link back to Digg before taking you to the article, which I thought was very annoying.
