Thanks for mentioning my post on the SPAM CAN act. I don’t think people realize how serious the government is about starting to enforce this on companies a lot smaller than Microsoft.

But here’s a new one for you- at least it’s new for me. I had someone contact me and ask some questions they thought I could help them with. I invite people to e-mail me with any questions they may have.

After we e-mailed me a few times, I all of a sudden appeared on his personal mass distribution list with every joke, rant and chain e-mail he sent.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but not only is that just wrong, but it’s not a way to present a professional image to someone you’ve just met.

    I’m just saying…

(If you agree with this comment, send it to 25 other people. If you don’t, the sky will fall and it will be your fault!)

LOL Tony! LOVE that last sentence.

You are absolutely right. This is incredibly damaging to a professional brand – especially if you pass along items some find offensive.

This is NOT the same as sharing jokes and links via Twitter. That is part of that network’s fun – plus they are easy to ignore when you are busy.

    Thanks for stopping by!
